A drawing/painting of my favourite ring, an oval turquoise stone in a silver band.
I tried to make it as identical to the real thing as I could. I used pencil to get the outline and shade the silver, then coloured pencil and watercolours for the greens. It changed colour after I bought it, it always had the dark green at the bottom but a band of darker green appeared in the light green. Apparently thats when the oils in your skin soak into the stone.. Hmm. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
